Ham Radio

Over the years, the hobby in which I was most active was amateur radio. My favorite area of ham activity is communicating by Morse code, using what many people call "the short-wave bands." I have communicated with other amateur radio operators in dozens of countries around the world.

While I still hold an FCC license for operating an amateur station under the call sign K1TD, I do nothing at all these days in this hobby. Unfortunately we live in a condominium area where no outside antennas of any kind can be erected, including short-wave antennas, for TV, satellite dishes, etc. My interest dwindled quickly under these circumstances.
